Why to use web proxy / proxy unblockers

There are certain reasons why someone would need a proxy unblocker (or web proxy).

Some countries, like Iran, China and Turkey, block certain websites and you can’t browse them using regular internet connection there. A proxy unblocker on the other hand could be able to bypass network restrictions and to display banned website to give you the information you want to access.

Another reason is that your school or company bans web sites like Ebay or your free mail account but you need to access them. A proxy unblocker could help you to unblock these sites too.

Another one reason would be that you want to browse the internet anonymously and hide your private information, such as IP address. For example: you work for company A and use the company’s internet to access website of company B. Sometimes it’s better to not show where you come from.

You can also use proxy server to see how do websites look like from different countries. Some websites show country-specific content (like news) so you can use proxy server to access such information. Even google’s search results are different for different locations and depend on your IP address.
